ISOTRA, a.s. - winner of the prestigious competition EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 within the Moravian-Silesian Region
On January 22, 2018 in Ostrava, EY company, under the auspices of the Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region, Mr. Ivo Vondrak, declared the winner and holder of the title EY Entrepreneur of the year 2017 within the Moravian-Silesian Region. The winners were Bohumir Blachut and Erich Stavar, owners of the family company ISOTRA a.s.

The name of the holder of the title EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 within the Czech
Republic will be announced with the winners in other categories on February 27, 2018, in Prague. Most of the candidates for the national title are from the Capital City of Prague and the Moravian-Silesian Region this year, followed by the Zlin Region and South Moravian region. The winner from the Czech Republic will take part in the World Finals, which will take place on June 13-17, 2018 in Monte Carlo.

"They are amazing feelings. I'm just sorry that my colleague and co-owner Bob Blachut, with whom we have been building Isotra together for more than 25 years, cannot be here. We are proud that thanks to our work, we are currently the biggest manufacturer in the world in terms of blinds produced per number of inhabitants in the Czech Republic. Our goal is to have state-of-the-art production of outdoor blinds and thanks to our employees, partners and families we will surely succeed in this”, communicated his impressions Erich Stavar from ISOTRA, a.s., the winner and holder of the title EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 within the Moravian-Silesian Region.
Statement of the EY´s representative
"In the Moravian-Silesian Region we have been announcing the regional winners continuously since I am very pleased that this year the jury selected the owners of the family company which belongs to the technology leaders in the field of blinds and roller blinds in the Czech Republic and abroad. I believe that many of us have their products at home or in our offices. Mr. Blachut and Stavar are brothers-in-law and we haven´t had such a winning couple in the history of the competition. I keep my fingers crossed for them on the national level.
